Analysis of the Operating Model on the Existing South Section of Xinyi-Changxing Railway

چکیده
Operating suburban trains on existing railways has been highly valued in China due to the advantages of activating railway resources, reducing construction costs and improving overall transportation efficiency. As a result, it is proposed that 'operating railways' key task urban rail transit network. Recently, south section Xinyi-Changxing Railway experienced low passenger freight volume, idle capacity underutilized corridor resources. To take fully resource, study provides 5 schemes operate Railway: Scheme A. DMU railway; B. Open reserved stations + operating trains; C. electrification EMU D. increasing designed speed 160km/h; E. Electrification constructing double track. The could provide reference for further research railways.
